With the government shutdown continuing into its third week, many families across the nation are faced with the tough question of how to budget while not being paid.

St Mary’s Food Bank in downtown Phoenix has an answer, at least when it comes to groceries. With several programs designed specifically for families in need, the food bank is here to alleviate some of the worry that comes with these troubling times.

St Mary’s has two major locations, one in Phoenix and one in Surprise. Both of these locations can supply grocery baskets of food to those in need on a first day basis, and help get information to those who may need assistance in the future.
