Four music festivals coming to the Valley are sure to excite fans of various genres

The 2015 music festival season is currently in full swing. Music lovers around the globe unite during the spring and summer months to see some of the biggest names in music perform together. Bonnaroo, Coachella and Lollapalooza are some of the big names, but there are also local options that are sure to offer something for everyone.

 1.) Dirty Disco

Date(s): May 16

Location: Chandler, Arizona

Dirty Disco is a single-day music festival located at the Rawhide Rodeo Arena. Dirty Disco features musicians mostly from the EDM category and artists such as AC Slater, Infected Mushroom and Zomboy. This is the festivals sixth year in the valley, and the event is promising to be bigger and better than the last. The acts will be featured on a huge stage in the Rawhide Arena and they will be played through a top notch sound system. Tickets for the event can be found at flavorus.com, and there is a general admission option as well as a VIP option. The tickets are priced at $45 and $60 respectively. The event does not have a website, but additional information can be found through Facebook and Instagram.

2.) Vans Warped Tour

Location: Mesa, Arizona

Warped Tour is a single-day music experience held at Quail Run Park in Mesa. The 2015 lineup features Citizen, Man Overboard, My Morning Senses Fail and Silverstein. The well-known festival is organized by Vans shoes, and features artists mostly from the alternative and pop-punk genres. Warped Tour features many exhibits, sponsors and vendors. Sponsors include Fearless Records, Keep A Breast and To Write Love On Her Arms. Band meet and greets and signings will also take place throughout the day. 3.) Rockstar Mayhem Festival

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

The Rockstar Mayhem Festival is an independent festival that is featuring artists mostly from the hard rock and metal genres. Mayhem has been providing fans with awesome experiences for many years. This year the lineup features headliners such as the Devil Wears Prada, Slayer and Whitechapel. Many of the bands are even having signings, and the times will be posted during the festival. Ak-Chin Pavilion will host Mayhem this year, and the all-day festival begins at 1PM. Tickets for the single day event can be found on Live Nation or on the festivals website. 4.) Summer Ends Music Festival

Date(s): September 24-27

Location: Tempe, Arizona

Summer Ends Music festival may be a couple months away, but that doesn’t mean that the buzz about it isn’t already huge. The recently released lineup includes band with huge fan bases and many loyal followers. The festival, located at Tempe Beach Park, is featuring bands and artists such as Brand New, Hozier and Manchester Orchestra. The announcement of Brand New excited many as the band just made their return to Arizona. The rain-or-shine event is sure to have something for everyone, and it will no doubt be an awesome and unique experience.
