Relentless beats and EDM events returned to the Phoenix area with Visions

The Valley music scene seemed to get a little closer to “normal” last Saturday night as Relentless Beats presented Visions, a pod concert experience, at Rawhide event center.

This concert experience was a little different from past festivals due to COVID-19 precautions and allowing for social distance — but this did not stop the ambiance.

When you arrived at the event, everyone was directed to ID check, security, and ticket scan.

Then you are shown to your very own pod.

The pod can fit up to 6 people and is physically distanced from other pods. QR codes are posted on each pod gate and occupants scan this code when ordering food or drinks. This allows staff to deliver the items directly to your pod.

Mask usage is mandatory and you can, of course, also leave the pod to use the restroom where one will also find hand sanitizer stations.

The doors opened at 7 p.m. and the first act to take the stage was Cafe Caderas, with great beats that made the whole room start dancing.

JVNA also put on an amazing show with some electronic beats that were out of this world.

K?D came in with all the energy, as well as beats making the crowd feel the music through every inch of their bodies.

Last but not least, Krewella put an end to an amazing night and the great duo left no crumbs on the stage.  The exhilarating show these ladies brought to Rawhide, left everyone astounded.

Taylor Knauf was especially interested in the final set.

“Krewella brought me to this show and it is an honor to be at this show and get to experience live music — see what is happening in the community,” she said.

Ivonee Cuevas appreciated just being able to enjoy an event again.

“Honestly I am very happy to be around live music again and be able to hear my favorite artists.  I am so glad Relentless Beats are doing shows again because I missed them so much,” Cuevas said.

Your next chance for festival fun comes April 24 when Relentless Beats and Activated Events present Wet Electric 2021 at Big Surf Waterpark, 1500 McClintock Dr., Tempe, Ariz.
