“Strap on a Glock,” said GOP MAGA Senate hopeful Kari Lake at a campaign event Sunday in Lake Havasu City that included the raffle of an AR-15-style rifle.
Lake told attendees to be prepared for the 2024 elections and even urged military and law enforcement to be “ready”—for November, for her race and other MAGA races but especially the one in Arizona, considered a vital battleground state.
After telling the crowd that she’s ready to “sacrifice everything” just like her idol, former president Donald J. Trump—Lake’s rhetoric got militant.
“And we need to strap on our — let’s see. What do we want to strap on?” Lake asked as some in the crowd chuckled. “We’re going to strap on our, our seat belt. We’re going to put on our helmet or your Kari Lake ball cap. We are going to put on the armor of God. And maybe strap on a Glock on the side of us just in case.”
Trump himself has used violent and inflammatory references in campaign events against his opponents, immigrants and others.
Reported in Business Insider last summer, “Lake told Republicans at a convention in Georgia that if people wanted to “get to President Trump,” they’d have to go through “75 million Americans,” most of whom, she said, “are card-carrying members of the NRA. That’s not a threat, that’s a public service announcement, Lake continued, saying: “We will not let you lay a finger on President Trump. Frankly, now is the time to cling to our guns and our religion.”
But Lake’s latest crowd spew is the promise of a revolution.
A Krazy Kari apocalypse.
Lake’s screech during her scene on Sunday focused on what might happen if there were widespread MAGA losses—the singular focus of her platform.
There’s no mention of sound public policy, no legislative promises on behalf of hard working men and women in Arizona, no solutions for improving the quality of life for all Americans—just threats—armament, mobilization and a vision for what to expect, what will happen, what Americans will suffer and even what should be worn (apparently a Glock) if the American vote doesn’t go the MAGA way.
Infamous for her election fraud claims and numerous unsuccessful legal challenges (many at the cost of Arizona taxpayers)— Lake has been scrambling on how to respond to abortion and women’s rights because the majority of Arizonans—Americans, support a woman’s right to make their own personal healthcare choices.
Lake applauded the archaic pre-state abortion ban that criminalizes women and their physicians, the one she supported and called “a great law” the first time the ruling came down.
She told America that abortion is the ultimate sin, and Arizona must become a sanctuary state for the unborn…
The truth is—well, there is no truth, unless it’s Lake’s own very creepy, very real, very dangerous “truth” she repeats over and over again—the one that threatens those who don’t see America the way she does, the Trump MAGA way—the “strap on a Glock” way.
It’s the only truth we can trust from Krazy Kari.
