Former YouTuber turned pro boxer Jake Paul schedules match at Gila River Arena

Jake Paul hosts a 5-0 record as a boxer, and comes in hot, off a sixth round knockout of former UFC athlete Tyron Woodley to win their rematch fight last December. Paul landed a victory via split decision in their first bout.
Paul also routed recently retired Bellator, ONE and UFC stalwart Ben Askren in a non-professional boxing match, knocking him out 1:59 into round No. 2.
He now has his sights set on UFC Hall Of Famer Anderson Silva.
Paul announced announced his fight against Silva on Tuesday, via his promoter Most Valuable Promotions .
“Me vs Anderson Silva. October 29th, Phoenix, Arizona. It is an honor to be in there with the legendary Anderson Silva, although I’m gonna knock him out in under five rounds,” Paul, known as “The Problem Child” said in a video that MVP posted to their Twitter.
In 46 career UFC fights, “The Spider” Silva has posted a record of 34-11-0 (1 no contest).
He began his boxing career with an upset win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June, 2021 via a unanimous decision of 77-75.
Silva landed his second pro boxing match with another former UFC athlete, Tito Ortiz, knocking him out 81 seconds into the fight.
Silva posted a short promotional tweet in Portuguese that read, “Fala meu povo! Agora é OFICIAL It’s official” which translates to “Speak my people! Now it’s official. It’s official”.
The bout will take place at Gila River Arena in Glendale, AZ on Oct. 29.
