Paul also routed recently retired Bellator,  ONE and UFC stalwart Ben Askren in a non-professional boxing match, knocking him out 1:59 into round No. 2.

He now has his sights set on UFC Hall Of Famer Anderson Silva.

Paul announced announced his fight against Silva on Tuesday, via his promoter Most Valuable Promotions .

“Me vs Anderson Silva. October 29th, Phoenix, Arizona. It is an honor to be in there with the legendary Anderson Silva, although I’m gonna knock him out in under five rounds,”  Paul, known as “The Problem Child” said in a video that MVP posted to their Twitter.

In 46 career UFC fights, “The Spider” Silva has posted a record of 34-11-0 (1 no contest).
