The Millennial Manifesto: The Inaugural Episode with Sen. Mary Hartley

The first episode of a new political podcast hosted from the campus of Scottsdale Community College

Jeremy Beren and Leon La Jeunesse

The Millennial Manifesto has liftoff.

Jeremy Beren and Leon La Jeunesse wade through Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th President of the United States, Sean Spicer’s bizarre rant and the Women’s March on Washington. More than three million protesters took to the street to march the day after Trump’s inauguration, and while Jeremy wonders if this has to be the baseline for resistance moving forward, Leon isn’t sure it is focused enough to succeed.

The podders are then joined by former Arizona State Senator Mary Hartley for a frank and wide-ranging discussion on Trump, the future of the Democratic Party and much more.

This episode of the show is dedicated to the late Jack August, former Arizona state historian.
