Pop superstar Bruno Mars brought his highly anticipated The Romantic Tour to Phoenix over the weekend. As expected, Mars delivered a high-energy performance that drew thousands of fans to State Farm Stadium.
The Grammy winning artist preformed on April 14th and 15th, with a second show added due to overwhelming demand and popularity. Both nights, the stadium filled with fans eager to experience Mars signature blend of pop, funk and R&B.
Bruno Mars opening acts included Leon Thomas and DJ Pee Wee, who energized the crowd before Mars took the stage.
First up, a video showed him in a church, praying “give this audience a show they’ll never forget.”
And that’s pretty much what he did.
For Mars, everything is performed live. His band, The Hooligans, provided the tight almost “military precision” sound that is rare in pop concerts.
When he appeared the audience erupted, launching into a performance marked by sharp choreography, a full live band, and a setlist full of older fan favorites along with his newer material.
Bruno Mars told Phoenix, “I’ve been waiting for this—y’all ready to party with me tonight?” a moment that sent the crowd into a frenzy.
The Phoenix stop is part of Mars first large-scale tour in years, following the release of his latest album and a celebrated kickoff in Las Vegas. Known for his dynamic presence.
Mars again proved why he remains one of the most compelling live performers in music today.
Fans in attendance described the show as nostalgic and fresh. From upbeat dance hits to slower, soulful ballads, the concert delivered a polished, crowd-pleasing experience.
As the Romantic Tour continues across North America and beyond, the Phoenix stop will stand out as a highlight for Valley fans. Two sold-out nights that showcased Bruno Mars at the peak of his performance powers.
