As people attend the “No Kings” demonstrations across the Valley the nation and indeed, across the globe on Saturday—at the same time, masked federal agents will continue to “round up” (often violently) undocumented immigrants and harass and even detain U.S. citizens if suspected to be undocumented in the eyes of even one rabid ICE hire.
In short, we are witnessing an unprecedented time in American history where due process has been tossed out and the MAGA faithful are getting more and more hyped up as they applaud hate-filled acts against immigrants and even American citizens—all while violating the Constitution.
The last “No Kings” demonstration during the hot summer drew thousands to the Arizona State Capitol. Across the nation, more than five million joined those protests.
Saturday should prove to be even larger as the severity and danger of the current administration has taken full hold.
“No Kings” organizers expect another large turnout this time, saying millions of people will take to the streets.
Protest events are planned across the nation according to nonprofit organizer Indivisible Guide stated in a post including Arizona, where dozens of “No Kings” events will be held across the Valley.
